Late one stormy night whilst at the inn, an owl flutters at your window. It has a journal in its clutches.
Dear Friends,
It is I, the good wizard Jonas, who always has been and always will be your friend. You're probably wondering why I had to send this letter attached to the talon of an owl instead of meeting you in person. You may be even wondering how I got my sight back in order to write this letter.
I apologize if it is hard to read from the rain or talon marks. I am a very hunted man and must limit my communication with you so as to avoid implicating you of an alliance. You see, when you slew the Voidwitch Necrola, her curse of counter-scry blindness was lifted and sight returned to me. But in the event that Seed, the Abyssal Destroyer was vanquished, it drew much Olucra attention.
Olucra must not know of your involvement with saving the City of Luhix, the Vector Empire, or your quest to retrieve the Elementium for that matter. The Dark Syndicate has many secret followers. Loose lips will sink ships--do not tell of your quests openly. If discovered, they will extract your brain and analyze it for information which will assist them in assimilating the land.
In these dark times, you need allies. I have sent for my old student Aristotle Lockingham. He is an expert in the Sciences and has a past with the Syndicate. He will be able to tell us more of the dark sun and its approach to Raza
The Black Sun is the Syndicate's symbol. It represents an inverse world where abomination rules. It is yet unknown what its connection to the Void is.
As you know, the necrotic mass known as the Void is consuming Elenion from the North. And now, from the South, Grothkor armies have begun attacking! The great realm of Elenion is now under the direst of peril. For whatever reason, I fear their onslaught will be successful. Most attempts to ask Vector for assistance have been apprehended. You must see what you can do for the Great Silverland!
Perhaps they merely conquest, but I have an underlying suspicion that these orc attackers also seek access to the Myst Shrine. It is there that the Harmonium traitor known as Gyorn has taken the Elementium Clock-relics. I do not know what that planeswalker wants with them. Confront him at the Myst Shrine!
But beware, therein lives a six thousand year old demon.
Furthermore, I think you should investigate the whereabouts of one Horus Skelter. Skelter was a scientist in Vector that studied teleportation. Well, he accidentally got caught in one of his own portals one day and was never seen again. . . so they say. My woodland friends inform me that he has emerged from the beyond in the form of pure Etheral energy encased in an alloy body. It is my suspicion that he had Olucra assistance. Fortunately, he was once a fellow professor with Aristotle Lockingham at the Westburry Forum of High Academia. My former student should be of great assistance there.
This is the most I can write in this letter out of fear that further secrets could end up with the enemy. Sleep well, my friend! I look forward to the day where we can dine in great halls once again with all this darkness behind us.

P.S. Remember, be very weary of in whom you place your trust.
